One of my go-to ways to track bass.
Fender Modern Player Jazz Bass split with an ABY: one path through a SansAmp Bass Driver DI into an Ampeg Portaflex 350, mic’d with an EV RE-20, plus a clean DI and amp out. Everything into the Black Lion Audio Altair Quad and straight into Logic Pro 11. No phase adjustments required.
