The Roxton and Brookston VFD and Constable Graham made the rounds in Roxton and Petty this evening, Santa in tow, handing out early gifts to good little boys and girls (and probably some rotten ones as well). Thanks to the coordinators of this special event!

Bringing You Home Since 1978

The Roxton Progress has been serving Lamar, Fannin, and Delta Counties since 1976; however, the newspaper was not officially incorporated until 1978. For over 40 years the Progress has brought subscribers the best in local and regional news, but the various publishers have always emphasized human interest stories and area history. As the population of the area has decreased over the decades and residents have either passed or moved on, the Progress has remained a staple. We are always looking to change for the better, so if you have any comments or suggestions on how we may better serve you, please send us an email or give us a call!
