Thank you to Tiffany in our “The Crunch Bunch Freeze Drying” Group on Facebook for the Idea. I was a bit worried the ground cinnamon without sugar wouldn’t taste very good on these, but the sugar in the peaches make up for it. This is a simple, fun snack that didn’t last very long in our house! Full video will be out today!

I could probably just grow a salsa garden and be completely happy, it’s by far my favorite thing that comes from our garden! Today is salsa day, and this is just one batch!

Our tomatoes are going crazy right now! My wife wanted to try her hand at “sun dried tomatoes” and it turned out really good! Definitely something we’ll do again as we dial in how we do it!

Tonight we’re harvesting some tomatoes to make tomato soup and grilled cheese for dinner (our first rainy day and break from the heat). We’re making extra to freeze dry it. We also have a load of other various garden veggies going in in about 30 minutes. What is everyone else freeze drying this week?

This year we’re growing some mutant cauliflower. This clementine cauliflower went a bit long, but we have an amethyst cauliflower we’re about to harvest that’s even bigger than this!

Took a crack at buffalo sauce, now I have buffalo powder! What should I use it in/on?

We freeze dried chicken fried rice and it turned out extremely well. We’ve never done rice before now, but it’s definitely going to be a staple here at our house! Video will be out later today!

We’ve been making this exact hot sauce recipe for 3 years now and each year we have more and more of our friends asking us to make it. We mostly use things from our garden, but you could do a similar recipe with things found at a grocery store. We finally feel like it’s time to share the recipe, so today we’re doing just that. 12:00PM Mountain Time we’ll post the video!

If you know us in real life, you probably know this sauce. Each year we make a big batch once the garden starts giving us what we need. We just call this our “fresh” sauce. Cilantro heavy, tons of peppers, onions, garlic, ginger, and more. This is the sauce our friends yell at us to make each year. I’ve never shown it here before, but now I have plenty of footage and I’ll get a video out with the recipe!
