I’ve been trying to get cereal bars to turn out right for quite a while now, and I finally think I’m getting really close. Growing up my mom would buy these little milk and cereal bars that we LOVED, so I’m trying to figure out a homemade freeze dried version that we can work into the rotation! I don’t think we are QUITE there yet, but we are CLOSE! I’ll post the full video later today!

Little miss asked if she could be in a video again, so obviously we had to make it happen. She had a ton of fun with the last one and probably even more fun with this one 😂. Last time she probably spent a good 30 minutes scrolling through the comments everyone left for her just cackling the whole time. If this is what summer is going to look like, I won’t complain! We’ve spent the last few years trying different tomato cages. We grow our tomatoes the lazy way, we just… let them grow so naturally they get a bit wild. We needed a tomato cage that was tall and strong enough to handle huge indeterminate varieties… and we finally found it! Currently going through and replacing all our tomatoes cages with these. This is the 6 tier MaxGrow tomato tower we’ll be using for our indeterminate varieties and we have the 3 tier version we’ll use for our determinates. I told the kids “we should have a competition where you guys each grow your own tomato plant and you get to choose what you water it with, you get to name it, and we’ll see who’s tomato grows the best”. In my brain I thought they’d all want to find some kind of homemade fertilizer or something that would… you know… grow plants 😂. Nope. They chose energy drinks, sprite, and kool-aid. Serves me right for not setting the ground rules early! I’ll post a video of the shenanigans next week 😂
