I’m sorry, but Airbnb has officially LOST ITS MIND. 😂😂😂

Wasn’t Airbnb supposed to be the CHEAPER alternative to a hotel???

Because somebody needs to explain to me how the Airbnb is now $347 a night… PLUS a cleaning fee… PLUS a service fee… PLUS taxes… PLUS whatever other fee they discovered while I was clicking “Book Now.” 😂

And THEN you finally get there…

CHECK-IN: 4:00 PM
CHECK-OUT: 10:00 AM

Excuse me?!?!

So basically I get the house for about 17 minutes. 😂😂😂

And don’t mess around and read the checkout instructions:

“Before departing, please strip all beds, place linens by the washer, start a load of towels, wash all dishes, load and start the dishwasher, take out all trash, wipe down the counters, return all furniture to its original position, lower the thermostat, lock all windows, feed the neighbor’s cat, pressure wash the driveway and put a fresh coat of paint on the guest bedroom.”

I AM ON VACATION!!!

How did I go from being the GUEST to being on the HOUSEKEEPING STAFF?!

And here’s the part that sends me over the edge:

YOU ALREADY CHARGED ME A CLEANING FEE!!!

So who exactly am I cleaning for?!?!

At this point, give me the HOTEL.

I’m checking in, throwing my suitcase on the floor, using every towel in the bathroom, sleeping until 10:47, calling downstairs asking if I can get a late checkout, and WALKING OUT.

No stripping beds.
No starting laundry.
No taking trash to somebody’s outside dumpster.
No 14-step checkout procedure.

And the craziest part?

When I leave the hotel, THEY tell ME:

“Thank you for staying with us!”

Airbnb, we need to talk.

Because somewhere along the way y’all forgot which one of us is supposed to be on vacation.

I’m not paying $1,800 for a four-day stay just to spend the last morning doing chores like I’m about to lose my allowance.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. 😂
