Grant + Ali
2026 Bride

I grew up with Ali, and it's been an honor to watch her grow up. She's pursued her passions from the get-go, and now she does it for a living. She's been in her niche for a long time - I'll tell you now - it was absolutely shocking when her sister would tell me about Grant.
I remember thinking, 'yeah sure, they're similar, but they can't be the SAME PERSON'.
Believe it or not, they are in fact the same person.
Ali talked about Grant forever, but I'd only just now met him for their engagement photos. He's not only just as she described him from the beginning, but also the most kind and genuine man.
I can't imagine a more perfect pair or a more perfect fit for Ali in all her Ali-ness.

I offered to take their photos in exchange for Ali's talent in hemming and designing dresses. She helped me create a dream wedding dress out of my mother's wedding dress, and I couldn't be more grateful. I'm blessed to have an Ali in my life. Anyone would be blessed to have such a power couple around!

The Asencio's have been nothing but hospitable and welcoming to me for years. I'm so happy to have been a part of and entrusted in something like this for their family.

Payton & Raq
A Wylie wedding

I took these pictures months ago. It was actually just the second wedding I'd ever done if you believe it.
They were gorgeous, and the photos came out just as gorgeous.
When Payton told me she and her fiance rented an Airbnb and we're planning an entire wedding within a month or two - I did think she was a little crazy. And when she asked me if I'd be the photographer, I thought she was a little more crazy. I never lacked confidence in my work, I lacked confidence in Wylie Texas.
But their day was beautiful, and their celebration was beautiful.

I couldn't be more happy for them. Months later I use these photos as a big piece of my portfolio.

Jade's salon

did my hair at a discount because I got super lucky and found one of her Facebook posts. Little did I know, she was actually the coolest person. I offered up a trade for the discount because she's insanely talented. She was super patient with these photos, because as you might already know, I've been SUPER busy. She only had about 14 photos, and I wasn't able to get to her album for 4 or 5 days.

On the bright side, I'm super impressed and proud with how well these photos came out. (I only shot for maybe 10 minutes) I 100% plan to go out to see her to do my hair consistently.
I still get compliments on my hair all the time, and I recommend her constantly. It's been super cool to be recommended by her to others as well!

I love small businesses and I love kind-hearted people. It's cool for her to do things like this for almost no benefit to her.

I mean if y'all ever need your hair done, I know a girl 👀

Jake & Allie in Bonham

I think feeling successful must feel different for everyone - I assumed I would reach this point where I "made it".
I've finally become a full-time photographer at 21. It took YEARS to be not only steady in my freelance, but also have a full-time position as a photographer. I'm booked out weeks in advance, and as stressful as it is - I've dreamed of this and I'm so beyond blessed to have finally made it work. It's a weird feeling.
But I still feel like I could be doing more or making more. It's so strange right? I have what I've dreamed of. I'm happy. I'm also a workaholic.
I'm grateful to have consistent work. I'm grateful to still have my weekends to do freelance and volunteer at my church. I'm grateful I can still have relationships and time for myself.

Jake's my little brother. Him and his girlfriend (Allie) have been together for basically forever now. I can see just the positive effects Allie has had on his life. I don't know if I've ever seen him so happy. It's weird to see your siblings grow up. It's pretty reassuring when you can watch them be content and happy.

Small Business Summit by the Royse City Tri-County Chamber

From experienced speakers & workshops to networking opportunities & partnership, being a part of this event was empowering for everyone involved. Entrepreneurs and small business owners found new ways to connect and build community as well as gain information from industry leaders in the various fields represented.
Breakfast and lunch were provided. Additionally, complimentary headshots (me!) were shot throughout the event.

I'm already looking forward to next year's presentations and opportunities!

In studio stylist

As a creative in trades, I love meeting other creatives in their trade! is one of those people. She's spent multiple hours on my hair and I've spent multiple hours editing her photos. Not only is she an incredibly talented stylist, but she's also an incredibly sweet person. She's in the Rockwall area and I'd vouch for her work any day.
I love to do work for businesses (especially the small ones!), and to support other creatives.

This isn't the first time I've done Payton's photos, and it likely won't be the last. I'm still doing shoots all throughout this month and will be available in areas like New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and Idaho at the end of this month in the beginning of next month! I'm always looking to support a new trade!

A piece about confidence

I've been doing so many photo shoots over the last few weeks, but no time to post them.
These are some photos that I took of my buddy, . I actually have known him for years, but we lost touch when we were sixteen or seventeen. We got back in touch while I was in Colorado for the summer. He just so happened to be in the area on one of my days off. He ended up coming by and we spent most of the day thrift shopping and getting food! And just like that, the friendship that we had was still there. It felt like we never really lost touch. We've hung out just about every week since then too.

Obviously since we've met we've changed a lot. We're different than we were as teenagers. I'm also different than I was even this last summer. I'm grateful for the people around me that love me through my growth and changes. I've been better about boundaries, I don't necessarily let people hold me back or let myself be dragged by them. It's reassuring that I was never a drag for Jose. Reconnecting has been a very positive influence on my life.
I look forward to watching the changes in both of our lives. I definitely look forward to the person he's becoming that I haven't met yet.

R + A in Garland

Rylie was one of the people that reached out from my couples model call adding to my portfolio!
Her and her boyfriend Austin were really great sports when I threw a new location their way. I hadn't been in the area, but I wanted to explore something new.
We hiked for at least 45 minutes to find some of the cutest spots! They were super patient and fantastic models.

I love to meet new people, and it's wild that I happened to leave my business card with her when she was my waitress a couple months back. (She was a really great waitress too!)
Best of luck to Riley and Austin in all the future adventures they were excited about! It's so refreshing to meet a couple so passionate about their future and travels.

The Lindbergs & "I do"
I met Kaden in a camp I went to as a teenager. The years went by, and we always kept in touch. Through Bible studies and the community he kept around him, we hung out constantly. When the studies he hosted came to a halt years later, we continued to find ways to kill time together.
Throughout this time, he was very picky about the people he'd go out with. He was a catch, but wasn't really interested in anyone around.
Except, this one girl who he had dated for a short time years back.

That girl was Mady. I heard about her a lot. Even before they got back in touch. And, even more so when they did.
I knew she was a perfect fit for a guy who didn't think anyone else was. And when I met her, I could see why. Mady was not only gorgeous, she was the sweetest and most personal person. She wasn't one person in front of him and another in front of other people, she was very authentic. In the conversations we had, she treated me like she had known me as long as she'd known Kaden.
I knew it was only a matter of time. And sure enough, it was. The summer of last year, Kaden sent me a photo of Mady with a hand that looked a little heavier than before. I was having a rough time that summer. I remember seeing them and being confident that not only did they make a great decision, but that I now got to have TWO best friends.

When he texted me the next day, he told me he wanted me to photograph his wedding. It was an honor that I didn't want to mess up.

I guess I'll let you decide.

Congratulations Kaden and Mady! I know you'll build the life you've both prayed for.
