The end of 2025 🥂

2025 Christmas has officially come and gone. With 26' around the corner, (two hours away), I can say confidently I'm proud of the growth and progress of this past year. I can't wait to find more sessions to look forward to and new companies to work with. I can't wait to take new favorite photos and meet new long term clients.

I'm sure that like this year there will be lots of forks in the road and lots of new plans.
I couldn't be more proud of the reputation AND the relationships I've built this year.

Adventures of Stacey & Daniel
Creekside hiking

Between all the holiday sessions, Stacey and Daniel connected with me for those seasonal AND less seasonal photos. Typically, when I do couples sessions, it's engagements or baby announcements. It's rare that I get connected with a couple that's been together for a long time and just want nice photos together to have nice photos together!

Stacy and her husband weren't the only kind ones, booking the studio for a family of seven - you wouldn't expect for everyone to be so kind or so easy to work with! I definitely plan to post photos of their holiday session another time because they came out incredible. Even with the little one, they were naturals!

I'm so lucky to have seen so many new faces this season!

T&T Family Session 🎄

It's the first of December! Christmas is getting closer and closer. I'm loving holiday sessions and my walks to studios getting just a little bit colder.
One of my favorite parts of this time of year is meeting new families and being there for those new holiday experiences. I love building relationships with young families and local couples.

It's nice to be a part of a little community.

Holiday season in Far North Dallas
✨ The Photo Space edition

This is the first season I've done back to back full Christmas sessions and minis! I'm obsessed with the studios that I've booked with - and I've LOVED the clients that booked me.

Between all of the sessions and emails, I've been on site with companies for events, yearbooks, and headshots.
I'm very blessed to have the opportunity to build the clientele base that I have. I'm also blessed to be considered a full-time creative in the field.

Being able to express myself with the tattoos, the piercings, the hair... And additionally, being taken seriously and being seen as a professional has been a breath of fresh air.
Being respected and having authority not being linked to my gender or my age is such a positive experience.

Hopefully I'll see you soon for your family Christmas photos. Either way, I hope you're enjoying the holiday season this year!

Anna's family - The Cathedral
National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe

I had the opportunity to meet Anna and plan a photoshoot with her and her beautiful family a couple weeks ago at a cathedral I'd only ever seen from a distance before.

I'd never expected everyone to be dressed as nice as they were. Goes to show how little I really do know about services here. It was an honor to be a part of something like this. I never get as many opportunities to shoot families as I'd like to! With my seasonal mini sessions, I'll definitely be able to put the seals to the test.

I'm grateful they trusted me with this photo shoot, and I'm glad they chose me! The photos came out gorgeous, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with her and her family again.

Cheyanne & Andrew
Arbor Engagement 🥂

Cheyanne and I connected on Facebook after sharing some of my work in the comments of someone's post. When she and Austin agreed to meet at the Arbor Hills for their engagement photos - I was stoked! Not only was the area absolutely gorgeous, but they were the sweetest couple.

They've been together for years, and got engaged back in April. Cheyanne had her inspo right off the bat, and I'm obsessed with how they ended up coming out.

My job stresses me out occasionally, but shoots and sessions like this keep burnout at bay for me. I love working with kind couples and meeting new people.

Grant + Ali
2026 Bride

I grew up with Ali, and it's been an honor to watch her grow up. She's pursued her passions from the get-go, and now she does it for a living. She's been in her niche for a long time - I'll tell you now - it was absolutely shocking when her sister would tell me about Grant.
I remember thinking, 'yeah sure, they're similar, but they can't be the SAME PERSON'.
Believe it or not, they are in fact the same person.
Ali talked about Grant forever, but I'd only just now met him for their engagement photos. He's not only just as she described him from the beginning, but also the most kind and genuine man.
I can't imagine a more perfect pair or a more perfect fit for Ali in all her Ali-ness.

I offered to take their photos in exchange for Ali's talent in hemming and designing dresses. She helped me create a dream wedding dress out of my mother's wedding dress, and I couldn't be more grateful. I'm blessed to have an Ali in my life. Anyone would be blessed to have such a power couple around!

The Asencio's have been nothing but hospitable and welcoming to me for years. I'm so happy to have been a part of and entrusted in something like this for their family.

Payton & Raq
A Wylie wedding

I took these pictures months ago. It was actually just the second wedding I'd ever done if you believe it.
They were gorgeous, and the photos came out just as gorgeous.
When Payton told me she and her fiance rented an Airbnb and we're planning an entire wedding within a month or two - I did think she was a little crazy. And when she asked me if I'd be the photographer, I thought she was a little more crazy. I never lacked confidence in my work, I lacked confidence in Wylie Texas.
But their day was beautiful, and their celebration was beautiful.

I couldn't be more happy for them. Months later I use these photos as a big piece of my portfolio.

Jade's salon

did my hair at a discount because I got super lucky and found one of her Facebook posts. Little did I know, she was actually the coolest person. I offered up a trade for the discount because she's insanely talented. She was super patient with these photos, because as you might already know, I've been SUPER busy. She only had about 14 photos, and I wasn't able to get to her album for 4 or 5 days.

On the bright side, I'm super impressed and proud with how well these photos came out. (I only shot for maybe 10 minutes) I 100% plan to go out to see her to do my hair consistently.
I still get compliments on my hair all the time, and I recommend her constantly. It's been super cool to be recommended by her to others as well!

I love small businesses and I love kind-hearted people. It's cool for her to do things like this for almost no benefit to her.

I mean if y'all ever need your hair done, I know a girl 👀

Jake & Allie in Bonham

I think feeling successful must feel different for everyone - I assumed I would reach this point where I "made it".
I've finally become a full-time photographer at 21. It took YEARS to be not only steady in my freelance, but also have a full-time position as a photographer. I'm booked out weeks in advance, and as stressful as it is - I've dreamed of this and I'm so beyond blessed to have finally made it work. It's a weird feeling.
But I still feel like I could be doing more or making more. It's so strange right? I have what I've dreamed of. I'm happy. I'm also a workaholic.
I'm grateful to have consistent work. I'm grateful to still have my weekends to do freelance and volunteer at my church. I'm grateful I can still have relationships and time for myself.

Jake's my little brother. Him and his girlfriend (Allie) have been together for basically forever now. I can see just the positive effects Allie has had on his life. I don't know if I've ever seen him so happy. It's weird to see your siblings grow up. It's pretty reassuring when you can watch them be content and happy.

Small Business Summit by the Royse City Tri-County Chamber

From experienced speakers & workshops to networking opportunities & partnership, being a part of this event was empowering for everyone involved. Entrepreneurs and small business owners found new ways to connect and build community as well as gain information from industry leaders in the various fields represented.
Breakfast and lunch were provided. Additionally, complimentary headshots (me!) were shot throughout the event.

I'm already looking forward to next year's presentations and opportunities!
