RABBIT MYTH BUSTER #1- “It’s DANGEROUS for us to hold our rabbits to be on their backs”…. FALSE INFO- NOT TRUE! I recently asked someone for data to even support this theory. She said, “info shows change in Heart Rate and hormone levels”. I explained, STRESS can change hormone & cortisol levels, fear for your life and safey will certainly INCREASE your heaer rate!! That explains the situation gir rabbits who live in the wild. The OPPOSITE is true for pet, show rabbits born who are held daily from birth! Our buns havent a care in the world. They feel no fear of us or even our hunting dogs, because its all tgey know. Would their stress, fear, hormone response be “less” than thisw tested from the wild… YES, of course but thats not a bad thing! Test my HR during a swedish message, verses a blow out on tge side of a highway in dallas at 2am of a saturday night… theres’s your difference and i’ll take tge massage EVERY TIME!! Duh! She responded with sites from Rabbit care orgs. It discusses the SAME thing I do on this video about why rabbits dont typically lay on their back. So then it reasons to say… for OUR buns to feel so comfy they’ll just fall out on their backs… they are very comfortable with us and feel happy & safe. PART 2 of Shelbie with BB’s “Cypress”. Big Ty SWRRBA, judges, & all the volunteers for a wonderful show today in Hillsboro, TX. Summer in Texas normally means, the best place to find a full coat of rabbit fur is inside their cages🤷🏼‍♀️ but today God blessed Carlie’s Buns with a really great showing.
