BolingBabiesRC’s “Plumb Sassy”
She made her debut this weekend and picked up 2 junior legs & 1 BOB at 4.5 months old.

We didn’t take her too LA a few weeks back cause she’s so little. Her brother is “High Cotton” and he’s a little bigger. He picked up legs in LA & more this weekend. Super excited for these 2 but not sure how I’m feeling about “A perfect crown” 🤔… we can’t have that!!! thinking we need to breed her back to the biggest slip in the barn🤣🤣🤣.

He’s a broken Blue, she’s a Blue Tort. Thinking we need to repeat that breeding and pray for these in BROKEN next time.

Great weekend.. not without its moments of stupid but that’s ok.. you can’t take away the greatness & friendship. Placing… omg I need Carlie for that! Win some and loose some. Some judges LOVED our rabbits.. one didn’t… so normal weekend at the show. Everybody gets their day in the sunshine 🥰

Highlights… Carlie stopped project crap to breed some BB OG. Paid off. Juniors made a splash!
Our girl Kaylee from OK brought her 1st gen to look at and ….. DANG IT WE LOVE HER!! She’s coming for ya Carlie… and with 100 youth hollands on the table, placed 🙌🏻.
Our Girl Chloe just keeps making beautiful juniors and keeping us home breeding WHILE TRYING TO CUT BACK … but how when she’s got these amazballs killing us!
Then we got tammy’s grandbaby .. Kennedy who’s showing in youth and didn’t she KICK OUR TAIL in show C taking BOB & BOSB… Carlie did take 2nd-5th in broken Sr Doe SO we didn’t suck 🤣 bit Kennedy delivered the butt kicking and it’s setting good with us cause we know her Maemae is teaching her RIGHT!!
Then.. switch gears, our girl Sarah from Twin Falls took BOSB AIN KANSAS this weekend. Love it!!! Love her & miss her. Another GREAT YOUTH COMING!!

Me and Mr Boling showed a few in the open this weekend and picked up some legs for our broken otter does .. also the jr actually took a BOSB 🙌🏻.

My Pudd left for Area Officer Conference Tuesday morning… 😢😰😭. I guess they surprised her with her officer jacket and she sent me a video. She’s having the best time and I love that for her… but also
I’m missing this kid so much and not just because I’ve got all her barn chores & rabbits & cows to feed… (which does actually make me miss her more🫣) but this place is to quiet! There’s no one singing frozen songs or the greatest showman… no Swifty music with dance movements ;(. This one brings a fun layer of CRAZY to my home. Needless to say… I might start counting the hours down till tomorrow!!

While we are planning ahead the breedings for the 2026 Convention in Reno, I realized I never did post the last Hollander with 2025 sweeps numbers. Carlie won Display so she got to write an article and post pics of few of her convention buns that contributed to that award.

We get lots of questions on how “points” works and its different from breed to breed so we planned to do a video and explain. We got busy and it never happened. lol. STILL plan to do that cause it can be confusing “how someone can win BOB and not win best display”. “What is best display”. I promise we’ll do it.. maybe in the car🤣.

As for last year, Carlie had a wonderful year. The youth breeding is insane so trying to stay relevant much less win anything gets harder every year! I’ll post the pics from the magazine but wanna SHOUT OUT to all the kids and holy smokes 😳 and WOW to Jewel Henehgan for 31 HERDSMAN!!!! 🔥 I can’t wait to explain how that’s done but it’s the marker we think the most of and love!! We’ve only ever won it ONCE in 2021 under shelbie and have been the bridesmaid since🤣. Way to go girl! I can’t imagine how fun it would be to go through your barn

hollands have a national club and joining the club they keep up with sweeps numbers and you get this magazine quarterly which is super amazing! All the open & youth zone reps wrote articles about different topics with nuggets from the best of the best. It’s super helpful so fun to see all the pics of our friends in the magazine.
