Just ran into the Clearwater Walmart for an hour, and I come out to find some guy straight-up sleeping in his car in the middle of the parking lot. Since when did Walmart become a campground? Some of us are trying to enjoy our vacation, not navigate around someone treating a busy parking lot like their personal bedroom. This is exactly the kind of nonsense that gives Florida a bad rap. If you need a nap, get a hotel or go home—parking lots are for parking, not living.

To my neighbor who decided 10:00 AM on a Saturday was the perfect time to start digging up sewer pipes: I was definitely not ready for that level of weekend construction. Waking up to loud banging and heavy digging before noon on a Saturday is not exactly the peaceful weekend vibe I was hoping for.

Our neighborhood used to be so quiet, so it’s a bit of a shock to see front yards turned into active excavation zones with zero warning. I get that plumbing issues happen, but a little heads-up for the surrounding houses would have been a nice common courtesy!

"Unlocking a new level of Amazon Prime luxury today. ✨ Paid $500 for an item, only for the driver to dump it in the dirt by the road like it was bulk trash day. 🪵📦

Why? Because I have signs asking heavy delivery trucks not to drive on our custom concrete driveway. Apparently, the driver translated 'please don't crack my expensive concrete' into 'abandon this high-value package as far from the front door as humanly possible.' My wife had to hike down the driveway in the heat to rescue it. I didn’t realize Prime membership fees were funding a speed run competition where basic common sense is completely optional. 🛑💸

"I recently put up a sign in my front yard regarding sidewalk chalk, and based on some of the reactions, it seems I accidentally sparked a bit of a neighborhood debate. 🏡💬 Before anyone jumps to conclusions, I wanted to share where I’m coming from.

I completely get the usual perspectives: 'they're just kids,' 'it's harmless,' and 'it washes away.' Those are all totally valid! My concern isn't actually about the chalk itself. The sidewalk in front of my home is a big part of my property's overall curb appeal, which I take a lot of pride in keeping clean. Depending on the weather, drawings can stay visible for weeks, which alters that appearance.

More than that, it’s about boundaries and consideration. I simply prefer that people ask before decorating the space directly in front of someone else’s home. Instead of confronting anyone, I chose to put up a polite sign to communicate this preference without creating conflict. My goal isn't to stop kids from having fun—just to set a gentle boundary.

I'm curious to hear other perspectives: If children regularly covered the walkway in front of your house with drawings, would it bother you, or do you view it as harmless neighborhood fun? Let's keep it friendly! 👇

First of all, I’m pretty sure parking two vehicles in one parking spot is not how this is supposed to work. 😑🏍️

Second, I really need someone to explain why the red motorcycle had to be parked so close that it literally blocked me from getting into my own car.

I stood there for about 15 minutes waiting for the owner to come back because I couldn’t even open my driver’s side door properly. Then it finally hit me that I could go through the passenger side and climb over like I was doing some kind of parking lot obstacle course. 💀

Why should I have to crawl through my own car because someone else parked like the spot was their personal garage?

I understand motorcycles are smaller, but that doesn’t mean they get to squeeze in wherever and make it impossible for other people to use their vehicles.

Is basic parking awareness really too much to ask?

Some people treat parking lots like their own driveway, and then everyone else is just supposed to figure it out around them.

Apparently EVs were created to “solve a problem that doesn’t exist”.

While you leave your oil on the supermarket car park.

This is why your crappy fossil car needs an annual service, regular maintenance and regular oil changes.

Otherwise it doesn’t work.

I’m driving behind a guy who has his entire arm hanging out the window, flailing his hand around like he’s conducting an orchestra or waving at imaginary fans.

Let's be clear: all limbs should stay inside the vehicle at all times. This is a public road, not a parade float. Not only is it a massive distraction for everyone behind him, but it's also genuinely dangerous. One wrong move or a tight space, and that arm is gone—or he's causing a major accident.

The sheer entitlement and lack of basic road etiquette is unreal. Some of us are out here trying to drive safely without having to witness a personal joyride performance. I am completely exhausted by these "main character" drivers who act like the rules of the road don't apply to them.

Put your arm back in the car like a normal adult. The level of stupidity on display is just ridiculous.

I just walked out of the store after picking up my food, and I am absolutely fuming. Some motorcycle was parked completely crooked, right in the middle of the access lines like the rules don’t apply to him. He wasn't even in an actual parking spot—just wherever he felt like stopping because he happens to ride a bike.

The entitlement is unreal. Driving a motorcycle doesn’t give you special permission to park however you want and block space meant for proper traffic flow or accessibility. Park in a real spot like everyone else, or leave the bike at home.

I am completely exhausted by bikers who think they’re above the law. So, I did what needed to be done: I called a tow truck and had it hauled away.

Maybe now he’ll learn that yellow lines and basic parking regulations apply to him, too. The level of selfishness and total disregard for everyone else is just ridiculous. Park correctly, or don’t park here at all.

So apparently I'm the bad guy for bringing this up, but I’m curious where everyone stands. My neighbor was out mowing his lawn completely shirtless yesterday afternoon. I get that it’s hot and it’s his property, but when did throwing on a basic T-shirt in a residential neighborhood become too much to ask? This isn't a beach or a pool—it's a community where families and kids are constantly walking by. A few neighbors told me I'm overreacting, while others agree it's just about basic respect for the neighborhood. Am I being unreasonable here, or have our standards for what's appropriate just gone out the window?

To my neighbor who thought 10am on a Saturday was the perfect time to start installing sewer pipes in front of the house… I’ve got to admit, I was not prepared for that level of early morning construction. 😅

Some of us were definitely trying to sleep.

Waking up to loud banging and digging before noon on a weekend is… not ideal.

I’ve already reached out to the appropriate authorities about the noise, and I really hope it doesn’t continue, because weekends are supposed to be a bit more peaceful than that.

This used to be a pretty quiet neighborhood, so it’s been a bit of a shock seeing front yards turned into full construction zones with no real consideration for everyone else around.

Just feels like common courtesy has taken a bit of a backseat lately....,,,,

Unreal.
