BREAKFAST WITH SANTA POSTPONED DUE TO FRIGID WEATHER FORECAST
MILWAUKEE, WI – DEC. 12, 2025 – UMOS is postponing its annual Breakfast With Santa event to next Saturday, Dec. 20, due to dangerously cold temperatures forecasted for tomorrow that could pose risks for the thousands of families and volunteers planning to attend.
Next Saturday is expected to be much milder for the annual drive-thru event, which will take place from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at UMOS, 2701 S. Chase Ave. The event remains free, and no registration is required.
Families are encouraged to bring children ages 1-12 to receive free and wrapped gifts for all kids. The event will also include photo opportunities with Santa, breakfast gift cards from McDonald’s, and additional special guests.
“While we’re disappointed to have to reschedule, the safety and comfort of everyone is our top priority,” said Gigi Garcia, UMOS Program Resource Director. “This extreme cold front also gives us more time to collect gifts for Milwaukee’s kids.”
