9/8/25: Once again, we are going under a quarantine for cats. We just are not catching a break. We have multiple, multiple kittens that tested positive for Panluekopenia. We struggled all morning, had a staff meeting and talking with our Veterinarian Consultant to find anyway possible to avoid a full shut down quarantine, and it was just not possible. So today, we will be closed to the public entirely, operating on an emergency only animal control protocol, so that we may focus on the initial cleaning required for quarantine. We will then reopen on 9/9/25 at 10am for dog intake and adoptions only. We will NOT be adopting or intaking cats for 2 weeks. We will announce a date in another post. Thank you for understanding, the cats already in our care are our priority at this time.
