Ever notice how some people suddenly forget how to do their jobs when there’s work they don’t want to do?
There’s a name for that: Weaponized Incompetence.
It’s when someone repeatedly acts like they can’t handle a responsibility, knowing someone else will eventually step in and do it.
And sometimes, that someone is YOU.

“I’m happy to show you how to do it, but I won’t be able to take over that responsibility.”
Have you ever worked with someone who always seemed to need rescuing when it came time to do their own work?
