C.E. “Charlie” Falwell, a retired Captain with the City of Russellville Police Department, graduate of Arkansas Tech University, and a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy, is officially announcing his intention to run for the office of Justice of the Peace, District 11, on the Pope County Quorum Court. He and his wife Amanda are respected business owners of “Charlie’s Does it All, Inc” doing residential and commercial construction, while raising their family in District 11, where they have resided for decades.

Falwell’s party affiliation is Republican. He believes as a conservative Republican, he has a strong desire to step forward and represent the interests of his party and his district. He is eager to bring his extensive experience and commitment to public service and private business to the role.

As a 50-year resident of Russellville, Falwell understands the challenges and opportunities facing the community. He is committed to fostering a safe and prosperous environment for all residents and will focus on key issues, including public safety, community engagement, and local economic development.

Update: After approximately 3 hours of review, board members entered executive session to further discuss the matter at hand. Duncan said to the board, “I believe I can still be an effective teacher in this district.” “I’m willing to take a suspension without pay.” But, said he did not think the district had been disrupted by this situation.
