RIP Mable Danielson. Retired 1997 from WFLS after 30 years. She passed away Saturday another life taken from Alzheimers disease.

Hi, everyone! We now have another FLS Fellows get-together planned. John Allen says "We are confirmed!" It's for Saturday, November 23rd for 1:00pm at Mimi's Café at Cosner's Corner.

Please do RSVP to John, Jay, me, or here on Facebook. This lets us A) get a count, and B) know whether to follow through with that venue. Let John know if you need any more information.

Get-Together for Friday Evening, February 22

John Allen has made a reservation for Friday evening, February 22nd at Lone Star, on Rt. 3 west, for our next get-together. We'll start at 6:00 PM with drinks and appetizers, and then have dinner at 7:00 PM.

This will be our first evening gathering, so we'll see how that works
for everyone. No obligation implied to stay for dinner if you want to
just stop and socialize briefly on your way home from work. But you're certainly most welcome at dinner too; actually some of us might arrive just in time for dinner, due to travel or work schedule.

Please let either John, Jay, or me know whether you'll be able to join
us. Thanks to John for making the arrangements with Lonestar.

On November 10, a few of the Poole Party met for lunch at the Lone Star Steak House in Fredericksburg. We are planning another event in early Spring. Please watch for details. Also, if you have any ideas of what you would like to do, please let us know by posting them to this site.
