Started four weeks ago by Seacoast resident Liv Clark, the Seacoast Period Pantry is tackling the large problem of period poverty in New Hampshire one pantry at a time.

Right now, there’s 12 pantries scattered in different Seacoast towns, with more to come in the coming weeks.

Free for anyone struggling to keep up with the rising costs of these essential products, the pantry is regularly stocked with donated items like pads, tampons, condoms, birth control pills, pregnancy tests, and more.

We caught up with Clark yesterday to get the full story. The short video interview is now available exclusively on our YouTube channel 📺

DM us “PANTRY” and we’ll send it to you 🎤

NEWBURYPORT - YOU WERE AMAZINGGGG 💙

Last night, we sent 100 people out to dinner, and the town welcomed Seacoast Stories Dinner Club with open arms 🫶

This group was special.

We heard story after story of intimate conversations that were shared at the dinner table.

Attendees bonded over quitting jobs to pursue new paths in life.

They talked about the struggles of raising children and the effects of the modern world on their mental health.

And most importantly, we heard from several people that they were scared to come, but someone in their lives nudged them to come, and that they’re so glad they got over the hump 💙

Why?

Because we NEED spaces like this.

For meeting new people, connecting over shared experiences, exchanging ideas, and LISTENING to one another - which is what we’re all about at Seacoast Stories.

Thank you Newburyport for having us, and a huge thank you to one of our biggest supporters Alex Bynum l Energy Healing l Negative Energy Removal for making this night possible 💙

Shoutout to The Port Tavern for hosting our epic after-party 🍻

A professional BULL RIDER on the Seacoast?!

Meet York’s own Kenny Churchill 🤠

For two decades, Churchill was one of the top rodeo competitors in the world.

He competed in hundreds of events a year, traveling all around the U.S. and Canada. At the height of his career, he even performed at the famous Madison Square Garden in front of the president 🇺🇸

After a devastating leg injury and the death of his father (also once a pro bull rider), Churchill hung up his boots in 2001.

Now, Churchill resides on his farm in York with his family, where he’s turned an 18th century barn into an idyllic Seacoast wedding venue!

From the barn, he joins our Troy Farkas to share some stories from the rodeo days, including:

🔵 What drove him to rodeo
🔵 Why holding on for dear life is a terrible strategy
🔵 The very serious health risks rodeo poses
🔵 A near-death rodeo experience

Plus, the crazy story behind why he purchased an old N.H. barn and turned it into a top Seacoast wedding venue!
