Folsom Police Department Arrested 100 Suspects Who Were Drug Trafficking With Fentanyl and Other Dangerous Drugs!!
From Folsom PD:
Folsom, CA – From September 15–19, 2025, the Folsom Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU), in partnership with multiple regional, state, and federal agencies, conducted a large-scale operation targeting fentanyl and other illicit drugs.
The operation brought together law enforcement partners from Sacramento, El Dorado, Santa Clara, Colusa, Amador, Yolo, Yuba, and Placer Counties, along with the California Highway Patrol, California Department of Parole, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS).
Efforts focused on disrupting online sales of fentanyl, conducting search warrants, interdiction operations, and high-impact patrols in areas known for drug activity. The coordinated effort resulted in over 100 arrests connected to drug trafficking, illegal fi****ms possession, and other serious felony offenses.
“This operation demonstrates the power of collaboration,” said Lieutenant David Canepa of the Folsom Police Department. “Fentanyl continues to devastate communities across our region, and only by working together can we hold offenders accountable and keep our neighborhoods safe.”
We thank the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office for their support during this operation by providing on-site personnel and assisting with case processing.
A press conference will be held to release full details of the operation, including the names of participating agencies and the scope of the results:
