As you may know, Make Friends Radio is our love letter to Sacramento and all of the extremely talented people that live within it. We set out on a mission to celebrate the people that make this city so special. We strive to connect the city with those that are responsible for the food, art, entertainment and music scene and give those individuals a chance to tell their story.In our return episode we are switching it up a little and separating the interviews and DJ mixes in an effort to let each person’s contributions to our city shine.

In this Episode I was joined by the owner of Legend Has It Jose Medina who has cultivated a unique experience to the city that focuses on high quality audio. The new high fidelity bar is located across the street from Downtown Commons (DOCO) and provides a comfortable attractive setting to sip wine and beer while listening to vinyl being played live (Either full albums or DJs who have perfected the art. It is a gorgeous space located inside the old Wired wine building and a great place to show community love, or as a place to stop in before a game or concert. This Podcast has allowed me to meet so many cool people and Jose is definitely one of them. I hope you enjoy our chat and my failure to launch the episode in time to promote the Legend Has It July 4th event.

Make Friends Radio is teaming up with New Helvetia Brewing Co. and hosting a Brunch Party this Saturday from 11-3pm. Join us for some beermosas, micheladas, Slushies, and a Brunch menu provided by chef Nate Soto.
We'll be playing some fun daytime jams.

Party Announcement:
Dayvibes a daytime house party event at The Flamingo House is now taking place every 3rd Saturday of the month. You can expect some traditional daytime house music vibes from well-established locals, some talented up-and-coming DJs, and the occasional super dope headliner. The Dayvibes event runs 3-8 pm and is always free entry during those hours. Come party with us!

Having said that, we have one of this month's guest DJs with an amazing downtempo / mushroom jazz style mix to help get you through the week and prepared for the party. I personally caught him at a downtempo event at Drakes the Barn and knew that we had to link up, so here we are.....enjoy!
