Tonight, the Rio Linda Elverta Community Planning Advisory Council (CPAC) unanimously voted AGAINST approving the proposed housing development behind Granite's (at Rio Linda Blvd. and M Street).

The Council cited several community concerns:

High Density for single-family homes.

Drastic Setback Variances (how far homes are from the street/property line).

Deviation from the Rio Linda Downtown Specific Plan Area (SPA).

Lack of a Park within the development.

Need for a Current Traffic Study.

⚠️ What This Means: This vote expresses our community's opinion not in favor of the project as currently planned. It does NOT mean the development is permanently killed, but it's a strong statement from Rio Linda!
