🚨 California Parents, WAKE UP 🚨
AB 495 is one of the most dangerous bills we’ve seen.
➡️ Any adult — ANYONE — can file a piece of paper claiming to “mentor” your child...
✔ No background check
✔ No oversight
✔ No investigation
THEN they get LEGAL CUSTODY.They can approve gender surgeries, puberty blockers, and more without telling you.
This bill hands your child to activists and predators.

We have a common saying at COTH "this is not a math camp." We have many elections but sometimes the student have trouble counting the votes. 🤣🤣🤣

🚨 BREAKING from the Supreme Court: Mahmoud v. Taylor (No. 24‑297) just delivered a 6–3 victory for parental rights and religious freedom in public schools!

😇📚�The Court ruled that public schools cannot compel elementary students to participate in instruction about LGBTQ+ themes without notifying parents or allowing opt-outs—especially when it conflicts with their religious beliefs.
Now, take a look at Justice Sotomayor's dissent:

“Public schools are 'at once the symbol of our democracy and the most pervasive means for promoting our common destiny… That idea will become a mere memory if children must be insulated from exposure to ideas and concepts that may conflict with their parents’ religious beliefs.'”

Let’s unpack that 👇�

• She views public schools as the primary engine for shaping future citizens—and believes parental objections should take a back seat.�

• The clear implication? Parents should not have the right to shield their children from teachings that go against their deeply held beliefs.�

• That’s a direct strike at parental rights, putting state ideology above family convictions and faith.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents are the first teachers. This line of thinking is not just radical, it’s dangerous. It undermines the God-given responsibility of families to raise their children in accordance with their values.
This decision is a huge win, but it also reveals just how far some are willing to go to strip parents of their rightful authority. The Court reaffirmed what Troxel v. Granville already made clear: parents have a constitutional right to direct the upbringing of their children.

Justice Sotomayor’s dissent imagines a world where the state—not parents—sets the moral compass for children. That’s not democracy. That’s indoctrination.
