A beautiful and breathtaking moment! 😱...Triplets born in Petrolina. Mom arrived at 37 weeks, and the three girls were born healthy and at a good weight [2.600 kg, 2.300 kg, and 2.100 kg]. They were roomed in on the same day, and none of them required special care.
The birth was by cesarean section. The first child was cephalic; the second, breech; and the third, transverse.

The mother writes: “Justice for José.

On August 19th at 6 am, José was born—healthy and perfect, after a normal birth. It was an enormous joy. We went up to the room, and hours later they took him to a heated crib because his temperature was 36.2°C, and the ideal is 36.5°C. My mother went with him, and I went to rest.

I woke up to the sound of my baby crying and a smell of something burning. When I got to the room, there were already several people there and a commotion. They took me downstairs to where the NICU is, and my mother told me what had happened.

– A nurse had taken a piece of cotton, heated it on a metal plate that acts like an ember, put it inside José’s sock, and then put his onesie back on. He immediately started crying a lot. They claimed it would soothe him, and they even put their finger (with a glove) in his mouth to calm him down since he’s very sweet, but the burning continued, and the smell grew stronger. My mother noticed that his onesie had changed color and removed it. When she took off José’s sock, his foot was already burned—the sock and the onesie too.

– Thank God my mother was there in time, because otherwise I might not have my son today—he could have been completely burned.

Now, he is at the Children’s Hospital, in the NICU, and tomorrow they will perform surgery to determine the depth of the burn and what needs to be done. There are many details I haven’t even written here because the neglect was so extreme it makes me sick.

My son was born healthy, and just hours later, our lives were turned upside down in a terrible way. I am in postpartum recovery. Even though my birth was normal, I had 20 stitches and am not being given the right to rest as I should. My son was denied the right to exclusive breastfeeding, and I am spending sleepless nights away from him, suffering damages that will never be forgotten.

We were supposed to be discharged today if it weren’t for this situation. Now, I don’t know when I’ll be able to bring my baby home."

When a new round of contractions begins, Erica begs Troy to move quickly. “I must push!” Erica shouted. You must exert effort! When you say you have to press, what do you mean? Troy answered. “No, no, no, no! The infant cannot be pushed. Troy anxiously calculated how far they were from the hospital as Erica, panting, said she was attempting to hold back. The contractions kept happening. Troy was becoming more and more concerned as Erica muttered, “It feels like something’s coming!”

“Honey, should we make a stop?” Troy queried. “I’m not sure,” Erica muttered as she writhed in agony and looked for a cozy position. The couple called the hospital, who advised them to pull over and call emergency services.
And in case there’s any doubt about how she’s about to give birth, Erica screams, “Ring of Fire!” The midwife remained on the phone and dialed the ambulance service number, as Troy pulled to the curb and circled around Erica.
“I can see the baby’s head! The baby’s head is out! Troy said before the baby was born just seconds later. “Does the baby cry?” asked the emergency services, and like a perfectly scripted movie, Nova began to cry along with her relieved parents.

Aliyah Hart weighed just 12 ounces when she was born three months premature in 2003. She was the smallest baby ever to be born in Britain – so tiny that she fit in her mother’s hand.

However, Aaliyah’s fight to survive began while she was still in her mother’s womb. At roughly 20 weeks gestation, Aaliyah had stopped growing, and doctors doubted she would survive. Then at 28 weeks, her mother, Lorraine Hart, went into labor. Hart and her husband, Ricardo, had been trying for 10 years to conceive, and Aaliyah was their miracle baby.

Jeff Bissenden, regional director for Birmingham City Hospital, told Telegraph after Aaliyah was born, “I’m amazed the baby did not di𝑒 in the womb. I think this baby’s survival is down to the intrinsic toughness of the child, not down to anything we have done.”
During her pregnancy, Aaliyah’s mother was told that she should consider abortion. Lorraine Hart told Telegraph that she refused to end the life of her child, and would not give up hope while Aaliyah’s heart was still beating. After only a few weeks in the hospital, Aaliyah was able to go home.

“She’s a miracle, so beautiful,” Hart told Telegraph. “She was so tiny, but she was so active. Her hands were going; she was her own little person and I cried for a long time. She was surviving – that was my main concern.”

Now, nearly a teenager, Aaliyah’s mother can be proud that her daughter not only defied the odds to survive, but is thriving, as well.

The 24-hour trial on the sisters, Abigail and Micaela Bachinskiy, was successfully completed over the weekend, specifically on Saturday and Sunday, according to a press release from the UC Davis Children’s Hospital in Sacramento.
The 9-month-old sisters who were born with craniopagus twins, an extremely uncommon disease in which the head is attached, are currently recovering, the hospital reported. Their parents, Liliya Moschnik and Anatoliy Bachnskiy, are reportedly counting their blessings. At UC Davis Children’s Hospital, this is a landmark occurrence. According to a statement made by the leading pediatric nevrosurgeon, Dr. Michael Edwards. This is my son, Lenny. I had the most perfect pregnancy until 30 weeks when I had a placental abruption that put Lenny and I at extreme high risk.
My body was starting to fail him and my body couldn’t make the protein to stop the bleeding. At 32 weeks, I had Lenny via an emergency c-section. I woke up thinking my water broke, when in reality, i started severely bleeding and was hemorrhaging.

We got to the hospital at 11:46pm and Lenny was born at 12:18. He weighed 3lbs, 11oz. I was put to sleep and missed the birth of my baby, as did my partner. We didn’t know if Lenny and I would make it. I woke up from my c-section thankful to be here and had to wait over 24 hours to see my son with my own eyes. Lenny being in the NICU for six weeks was the most stressful, yet rewarding experience ever.

We got to watch our little miracle fight for his life and amaze everyone around him every day. He truly is the love of my life, he’s brought me so much purpose. We love you Lenny. You fought like hell to get here and you make us fall in love with you everyday. He’s now almost 3 months and is 9lbs!
