State and local leaders announced a new school zone safety education campaign that calls on drivers to know the “ABCs” for safety – Alert for Bicyclists and Children crossing – as students return to school.

“As students head back to school, we want every trip to be a safe one,” said OTS Director Stephanie Dougherty. “The ‘ABCs for School Zone Safety’ campaign highlights driving basics that protect children on their daily routes. Remember your ABCs on every trip—stay alert for bicyclists and watch for and yield to children crossing the street.”

In addition to the ABCs for safety, local and state partners have four key tips to remember for back-to-school and school zone safety:
• Plan for Extra Time and Be Patient: Expect delays around schools and give yourself a buffer so you’re not in a rush.
• Stop for School Buses: With few exceptions, California law requires drivers to stop in both directions when a school bus has flashing red lights on. Drivers must stop until the red lights are off.
• Slow Down: Follow the posted speed limits—especially during school start and end times and when children are present.
• Avoid Distractions: Keep your phone down and eyes up—one moment of inattention can lead to tragedy.

Hãy giúp tiếng nói của cộng đồng người Mỹ gốc Á được phản ánh đầy đủ trong một nghiên cứu người tiêu dùng quan trọng trên toàn quốc.

Asian American Advertising Federation (3AF – Liên đoàn Quảng cáo Người Mỹ gốc Á) và 3AF Foundation đang thực hiện nghiên cứu The Asian Consumer Opportunity: Spending, Cultural Influence and Brand Relevance.

Nghiên cứu nhằm tìm hiểu rõ hơn cách người tiêu dùng Mỹ gốc Á chi tiêu, đưa ra quyết định mua sắm, chịu ảnh hưởng bởi văn hóa và truyền thông, cũng như cách họ nhìn nhận các thương hiệu.

Chúng tôi đặc biệt mong muốn lắng nghe thêm ý kiến từ người tiêu dùng gốc Hoa, gốc Hàn và gốc Việt muốn thực hiện khảo sát bằng ngôn ngữ mẹ đẻ, để quan điểm của các cộng đồng này được phản ánh tốt hơn trong kết quả nghiên cứu cuối cùng.

Talented Korean-American singer and actor Lee Hyun Woo makes an appearance at Thunder Valley for his Dream Again Tour. With 11 albums spanning almost three decades, Lee Hyun Woo rose to fame with hit songs like "Dream" and "Day After the Break-Up".
