On this day five years ago, STRESS ANGEL released their debut full-length, Bursting Church, under the banners of Stygian Black Hand and Dying Victims Productions. This album set the stage for the manic breed of riff-centric thrashing death that the band would continue to develop on their second album, Punished by Nemesis (2024). 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF INN OF THE VATICIDE
Today marks 3 years since the release of Black Eucharist’s debut full-length, “Inn of the Vaticide”.

BLACK EUCHARIST began in 2018 as “Black Ejaculate” with the sole purpose of blasphemy and ridicule of Nazareth’s infamous liar who shat himself upon the cross. After a name change in 2021 they returned with darkness and evil as BLACK EUCHARIST to continue where they left off following in the footsteps of their USBM predecessors Profanatica, Demoncy, VON, and many others. Biblical dejection, ph***ic corruption, and holy profanation manifest in the utterings of this treacherous triumvirate.

This was embodied by their album-release show, which flooded Richmond’s Cobra Cabana with die hards to see these new songs performed live for the first time. 9 YEARS OF MORBID LUST

9 years ago today, Stygian Black Hand released Morbid Lust, the debut EP from Horns & Hooves (then a duo of Malebolge and Salpsan), semen-ting their salacious style with a foul foursome of songs whose lyrics and riffs forever stain the minds and trousers of those who experience them. At the time, the EP was only released on CD, followed by a limited cassette from , a short-lived imprint run by the crew’s frequent co-conspirator . It also featured gruesome guest vocals from , the singer of fellow SBH alumni Plague. After the release of Morbid Lust, Horns & Hooves soon recruited the well-endowed Orobas to take over drum duties and crafted the infamous full-length, I Am the Skel Messiah.

Here, we expose some promo and rehearsal imagery from the Morbid Lust sessions, including some alternate cover art variations used for when the mainstream could not handle the original. Left uncensored in all its glory, the album title text was drawn by Salpsan.

As a decade of Morbid Lust edges near, we continue to receive requests to resurrect these songs on physical format, and, frankly, we’re not sure if we can hold it in any longer…

TWO YEARS OF PUNISHED BY NEMESIS
On this day in 2024, unsheathed their second full-length, Punished by Nemesis, in conspiracy with Stygian Black Hand and Dying Victims Productions. In the subsequent years, they brought their metal of stress on two torturous tours — with Sabbat in the US and across Europe with Abhorration — as well as a few infamous fest appearances. Two years on, Stress Angel show no sign of slowing down, and even more ridicules of death may be in the works…
