I finally wrote something I genuinely feel that everyone should read. It should be in schools, if I may go that far. And it’s not horror. It’s not even fiction. And I wrote it under my pen name. It took me about 16 years to write, off and on. It’s about animal rights. It’s about human rights. It’s about a significant historical figure no one’s really heard of and this is the first biography about him in history. Let me introduce you to one of my heroes, Friedrich Gabriel Sulzer (1749-1830), the Enlightenment doctor who championed universal equality through the humble hamster. More specifically (back of the book):

From his birth in Gotha to his final days in the Kingdom of Hanover, Sulzer’s journey is one of scientific rigor and philosophical bravery. He dismantled long-standing hierarchies, arguing for the equal value of all living beings. Marsena Shane masterfully brings to life this forgotten figure of the Enlightenment, weaving together medical history, mineralogy, and the early foundations of animal rights.
