Friends of the Library The Friends of the St. Anthony Library is a private, independent 501 (c)(3) organization with a mission to support the Hennepin County Library – St. Anthony.

It helps their library through book sales, volunteering, serving as ambassadors for the library, sponsoring author talks and children’s programming, and participating in any activities that serve the library.

For every woman who has ever been told to hush, behave, or be nice by small, scared, embarrassing men…

Your voice is not a problem.

Your awakening is not a threat.

You are allowed to say enough.

Call us whatever you want, because your labels never defined us anyway, but quiet isn’t on the menu anymore.

We’re awake now.

And baby, we’re done being small.

Enough.

The president grew frustrated with Mary Bruce of ABC News over her questions during his meeting with the Saudi crown prince. On Friday, he told a Bloomberg News reporter, “Quiet, piggy.”

November always feels like the doorway into winter, not the coldest part, but the pause before. The trees are shedding what they no longer need, the nights draw in, and everything around us quiets.
This poem is a reminder that our bodies follow the same rhythm. You’re not falling behind. You’re simply shifting into the season’s slower stride. Early wintering is still wintering.
