Exciting News from KnightLogic!
My amazing students continue to make me proud again and again!
Tennessee State is conducting the State Chess Championship, selecting top-ranked players from each county across the state.
Region 2 includes Bledsoe, Bradley, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, DeKalb, Fentress, Franklin, Grundy, Hamilton, Jackson, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Morgan, Overton, Pickett, Polk, Putnam, Rhea, Roane, Sequatchie, Van Buren, Warren, and White counties.

Our talented KnightLogic students represented us proudly:
*K–3 Section:*
Adwaith Rishi Kanal – 4th Place (K1 student, 2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss)
Dhaanvi Reddy – 5th Place (2 wins, 2 losses)
Kausarali Taher – Strong participation
*K–5 Section:*
Viyaan Rao Pupulla – 1st Place (4 wins, 0 losses)
Aadvik Rishi Kalal – 3rd Place (3 wins, 1 loss)
Nihitha Ganapaneni – 4th Place (3 wins, 1 loss)
Pragya Kotamraju – 9th Place (2 wins, 2 losses) – just outside the qualifier list, but still received a State Qualifier Form!
Mariya Taher – Strong performance and great effort
Out of 8 participants, 6 KnightLogic students qualified for the Tennessee State Championship — an outstanding accomplishment in a highly competitive event!
Adwaith Rishi Kanal, Dhaanvi Reddy, Viyaan Rao Pupulla, Aadvik Rishi Kalal, Nihitha Ganapaneni, and Pragya Kotamraju will proudly represent Chattanooga–Hamilton County as part of Region 2 in the state championship.
💰 Looking Ahead
The Tennessee State Championship which will be held soon and it is open only to state qualifiers from all Tennessee regions.
The top two state champions will receive scholarships of $2,000 and $1,000 respectively.
We’re excited to see which KnightLogic champion will bring home the 2025 scholarship!

Congratulations also to Sanjeev Vikram, who participated in the Orlando FL Scholastic Open (Rated) and secured 1st Place with an outstanding score of 4 wins, 1 draw, and 0 losses!
