Keep climbing and reaching. I had two people this past week reach out to me about writing their own story. Encouraging people to chase after what is on their hearts is amazing.

There is something about death that has us reflect on life. Lean into that. Don’t be afraid of the deep questions you have. Don’t be scared to look into yourself and examine your own life. Everyone wants their life to make a difference—don’t rob the person you lost of getting to possibly...just maybe...help make a difference in you.

What is behind your "okay?" Often times we give the quick response "I'm okay" whenever someone asks us how we are doing during a difficult time and more often than not, we are not okay. We need to get comfortable with giving uncomfortable answers. True community and real conversations can happen when we do. We all want to be known and have a desire to be loved but it isn't until we open up that we can experience that. In the midst of grief we often feel alone and that is the time we need people. This morning Bear and I visited some very special friends at Anastasia Baptist Academy. We learned, laughed, and remembered that we are all wonderfully made. The hugs at the end of the visit were the best! 💕
