Do you Fact-Check your Doctor?

Americans consider A.I. to be MORE trustworthy than social media when it comes to health-related issues . . . but less trustworthy than friends and doctors. And some people use A.I. to fact-check their doctors.

A new survey asked people how they're using A.I. like ChatGPT to manage aspects of their health . . . and learn about potential diagnoses.

35% of people have asked A.I. health questions, and 63% of them think A.I. is "trustworthy." That's MORE trustworthy than social media (43%) and "influencers" (41%) . . . but LESS trustworthy than doctors (93%) and friends (82%).

(We assume those friends DON'T have medical degrees . . . but maybe they've "done their own research.")

And there's this: 24% of those people have asked A.I. to FACT-CHECK information they've received from social media, friends, AND their own doctors and health professionals. (???)

Fortunately, most people are using A.I. more like they used Google . . . for the latest health and wellness trends, and tips on diets and exercise . . . and NOT to self-diagnose serious issues, like that blood shooting out of your ear.

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has died at 71 years old, TMZ Sports has learned.

Medics were dispatched to the WWE icon's Clearwater, Florida home early Thursday morning ... with operators stating it was regarding a "cardiac arrest."

A video of the scene outside Hogan's residence shows responders desperately trying to save his life as he was transported to an ambulance.
