" I thought about doing this years ago when I originally got the gts, but I didn't have the heart for it yet. After a couple years of being afraid to take the car anywhere much at all, I decided to enjoy it the best I could. Everywhere I went in that car I was so scared of it getting scratched or hit by another vehicle or anything for that matter. I barely drove it and it sat in my garage for years not doing much at all. That's not how a car should live (stuck in a garage). So after doing what all car guys do to their old tires before getting new ones (tracks in this case ), did some good burnouts and gave the car a proper beating 😅. I wanted to jokingly do something to the car as a prank and post videos but that soon became something greater than I intended and then she ended up on tracks. To my knowledge it's the first Viper GTS on tracks. It may have been an RT I saw years ago on tracks but I don't think I ever saw one like this. So far the car is doing phenomenally well even though it's still only rear wheel drive. The gear ratio difference in the tracks is actually perfect for just putting around idling in first gear through the woods. I haven't gone over 50 mph yet but when I do I'll get a video of it." - me
