I can still see Mom and Mitt’s fridge in my mind… stacked high with Country Crock butter bowls.
No two matched, none had lids that fit, and every single one was filled with something “for later.”

Back then, leftovers had a story ~ Sunday roast, Taunt Toot’s peas, Daddy’s chili ~ but they also had no system. 😅

These days, I’m still saving every spoonful ~ but I’m storing my leftovers in bowls with purpose.
Bowls that actually seal, stack, and save space instead of starting a game of fridge Tetris every night.

It’s funny how the smallest shift ~ from “whatever works” to “works for me” ~ can change the way your kitchen feels.

It started with a chat over the road with my neighbor Cherie about some bananas that were begging to be used.
I almost got fancy and added zucchini, but Cherie said, “Girl, just make the banana bread.”

So I did. One bowl, one spatula, and a kitchen that smelled like comfort and victory.
From batter to bundt to bite ~ we made it together 🥰
