“This year, the National Junior College Prep Football Conference opened its doors to a new wave of players in hopes for a second look from NCAA football programs. Although the league is new, NJCP features 15 teams nationwide, and is split into two conferences, the eastern conference and the western conference. . .

As part of the new expansion of the league, St. George introduced a brand new team. The St. George Silver is the new local team to Southern Utah. The opportunity to join St. George Silver isn’t only exclusive to Southern Utah athletes.”

This is helping the student body who don’t have personal vehicles get the necessary transportation that they need. Students who use public transportation to commute are saving money but also helping the environment.”

“From an early age, Royce was an ambitious child, earning straight A’s and participating in student government.

Royce was a child born full of light and love for life, but this past March he was faced with a very different reality when he was diagnosed with leukemia. His diagnosis did not keep him from dreaming and envisioning his dreams coming true. One of those dreams is visiting Japan and going to PokéPark Kanto.

The Be The Light Club at Utah Tech University, founded by Avery Lee, a junior nursing major, focuses on spreading awareness of childhood cancer and providing service to those in need. This year, the club is working with Make-A-Wish Utah to help raise money for Royce and his wish.”

“As e-scooter and e-bike use increases in Utah, Utah Tech University police are enforcing a new Utah law requiring helmets and reminding riders about speed limits on campus.

The law, which requires riders of e-scooters and e-bikes under 21 to wear helmets, went into effect May 6.”
