The most underrated coffee shop in Napa Valley might be hiding in plain sight. โ˜•๏ธ

Located at Stanly Ranch, Gavel is the kind of spot you'll wish you found sooner.

They serve Sightglass Coffee, seasonal pastries and breads, and have one of the best outdoor seating areas around. There's also a curated shop featuring artisan gifts and local wines, making it easy to linger a little longer.

Now through September, Gavel is also hosting a Loveski Bagel pop-up from Michelin-starred chef Chris Kostowโ€”and yes, they're worth the hype.

The best part? You don't need to be staying at the resort to visit. Gavel is open daily from 6 AMโ€“4 PM and welcomes non-resort guests.

But what makes the event truly special is the impact. Over the years, Auction Napa Valley has helped raise millions of dollars to support healthcare, education, and community programs throughout Napa County.

So yes, the wine is extraordinary.
Yes, the food is incredible.
And yes, the setting is as beautiful as you'd imagine.

But at its heart, this weekend is about giving back to the community that makes Napa Valley so special.

If you're looking for the best patio in Napa Valley, Bistro Don Giovanni belongs in the conversation. โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿท

With vineyard views, olive trees, a beautiful fountain, and one of the most inviting outdoor dining spaces in wine country, this is the kind of place that reminds you why people fall in love with Napa Valley.

One of the things we love most about Bistro is how versatile it is. It's equally great for a date night, a family meal, or a large group gathering. Kids have plenty of room to roam, and the spacious patio makes everyone feel comfortable without ever feeling crowded.

What keeps us coming back isn't just the settingโ€”it's the consistency. Year after year, Bistro delivers the kind of food and hospitality that have made it a Napa Valley favorite for decades.

A few things we almost every time:

๐Ÿ• The wood-fired pizza
๐Ÿ The house-made pasta
๐Ÿท The pork chop
๐Ÿฐ Any seasonal dessert (save roomโ€”you'll thank us later)

This isn't just one of the best patios in Napa Valley. It's one of the places we send people when they ask what Napa feels like.

This in Angele in Downtown Napa. ๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท

The best way to describe it? It feels like you've been transported to France without needing a passport.

The patio is one of the prettiest settings in Napa Valley, with blue-and-white striped umbrellas, river views, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger over another glass of wine or the perfect spritz.

Inside is just as charming. Cozy, romantic, and timeless in a way that never feels forced.

Even the bar is a vibe.

And one of the reasons we keep coming back is the consistency. The service is always warm, polished, and reliable. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, the experience feels the same.

A few dishes we'd order again every single time:

๐ŸŒ The escargot. The garlic butter sauce is what dreams are made of. You'll want bread to soak up every last drop.

โœจ The gnocchi. Warm, pillowy and absolutely divine.

๐Ÿฆ† The duck confit, rich, tender, and beautifully executed.

๐Ÿท The beef bourguignon, comfort food elevated to another level.

๐Ÿฎ And the bread pudding, which remains one of our favorite desserts anywhere in Napa Valley.

For date nights, anniversaries, celebrations, or simply a beautiful evening by the river, Angele continues to remind us why it's one of Napa Valley's most beloved restaurants.

Chef Evan Neumann trained under some of the biggest names in fine dining before recently taking the helm at Auro inside Four Seasons Napa Valley. โœจ

What stood out most is that while Chef Evan is beginning to put his own stamp on the menu, Auro hasn't lost the identity that made it special. The Japanese milk bread remains a standout, and the Japanese and Mexican influences that helped define the restaurant are still front and center.

A few highlights from the evening:

โœจ Gifts from the kitchen were a fun way to start the experience
๐Ÿš The razor clams with smoked trout roe and cucumber dashi โ€” fresh, briny, and one of our favorite bites of the night
๐ŸŸ The citrus-cured kinmedai with strawberries, basil, and pluot kosho โ€” bright, delicate, and visually stunning
๐Ÿฆ† The honey-glazed squab, which may have been our favorite course of the evening
๐Ÿฅฉ The 28-day dry-aged Australian Wagyu, beautifully cooked and packed with flavor

Beyond the food, service continues to elevate at Auro. Our experience felt polished but relaxed โ€” attentive without ever feeling formal.

We're looking forward to seeing how Chef Evan continues to evolve the menu while building on the foundation that already made Auro one of Napa Valley's standout dining destinations.
