The common tern is a sea bird that nest on rocky beaches. They feed primarily on fish while diving to catch them. While they are listed of least concern, they are protected in most states under the migratory bird treaty. They are also protected as their habitats are being washed away or developed. This was captured with my Canon M50 and 100-400MM lens.

As the dandelion starts turning to seeds and is heading towards taking flight to be replanted and germinated some place new. It is common in the spring for seedlings to take flight to bring new life to our planet. This was another day of macro practice with the Sony A6400 with a 24-105mm lens and a +4 diopter.

This old tombstone is from Boot Hill Cemetery in Seney, Michigan. This is an old logging cemetery that was filled with some colorful characters. While Seney was full of rough and tough characters. If anyone hasn’t gotten to read about Frying Pan Mag I’d recommend it. It’s an interesting story. Captured with my Sony a6400.

Canadian Geese just swimming along with their goslings. While mostly migratory some have decided to remain in the Great Lakes region for adequate food sources and lack of predators. These birds have a distinct honk and can be seen flying in a distinct V shape. Captured with my Canon 70d and 100-400mm lens. These were captured Seney National Wildlife Refuge which is an amazing spot to see many different bird species.

This is a more artsy approach to a Forget Me Not. This flowers symbolize all kinds of things around the world. Most of them are in remembrance others are a symbol of never dying love.
