Our January meeting provided us a chance to finally be able to personally thank and present certificates of appreciation to some wonderful volunteers who stepped up to help a local veteran move.

We were also able to welcome 2 new committee members; Jared Schwanz and Diane Peterson.

Any Watonwan County Veterans that had flood damage may be eligible for a Disaster Relief Grant from MN Dept of Veterans Affairs. Widows of Veterans may also qualify. Applications need to be made through the Watonwan County Veterans Service Office. Please call the office at 507-375-1254 for more information.
