Due to recent reviews of an event, I've decided to post without going into details. When we book an event, we sign a contract with our clients. We are bound to the contract, which includes many things. It's just how business works. We are required to provide the music that the client requests, which we stay on top of throughout the event. We do try and honor guest requests when the clients want that. We have to protect our staff. We have to protect our equipment. We have to protect our clients. Our clients are ultimately responsible for the actions of their guests. Our clients are responsible for any damage to equipment caused by the guests. Our staff should not be subjected to any unwanted contact, touching, grabbing, or any other action that impedes providing the host with the service they contract. Our staff should not have to give multiple warnings to not be in an area that is for staff only. Our staff should not have to be worried about leaving the equipment alone long enough to take a bathroom break. While it is understood that our staff may deal with overly intoxicated people during our events, we still should have the respect of guests honoring our boundries. Our goal is to provide the client with the best possible service, which means dealing with guests that are not as respectful as the other 99%. There are occasions where we, after multiple requests, have to remove people from the DJ area. This is to protect the staff, as well as the contracted service we are to provide. This is for the protection of the staff, the service, and the client. We only ask that our staff get the respect they deserve that allows them to provide the service that our client wants.
