According to Sgt. Babb, the person involved in the I-229 accident is deceased.

This just developing as we were in our 9pm newscast.

Around 6 p.m. this evening, the St. Joseph Police Department and Buchanan County EMS responded to a call that a semi-truck had traveled off an Interstate 229 exit ramp.
