The Hubbard Radio teams from Brainerd, Wadena, and Alexandria came together to broadcast live from Lakewood for the Grand Opening of the Lakewood Health System Cancer Center! They braved the chilly 30-degree temps and had the privilege of speaking with doctors, Lakewood’s CEO, and even one of their cancer patients — all sharing stories that reminded everyone why today matters so much. Through the month or so long campaign , $10,000 was raised for local cancer patients — and with matching funds, that’s $20,000 (and counting!) These dollars go directly toward patient incidentals like travel, food, groceries, and even daycare when needed. Now, those in some of the most vulnerable times in their lives can heal close to home. The Hubbard team united today — and together, made a difference. How cool is that?

Talk about a story with a happy ending! 📖 The Twin Cities 2060 Cares crew came together to collect 192 books — a whopping $3,739 worth! — for the Women’s Prison Book Project, an incredible nonprofit that provides books to incarcerated women across the U.S.

Generosity wins again! Every page donated helps spark connection, education, and empowerment for those who need it most.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated, supported, or spread the word! Together, we made a real difference.

It is now Chili Cook Off season and both the Brainerd and Alexandria markets participated in Chili Cook Offs to benefit their local communities.

Hubbard Radio Alexandria raised money to benefit the United Way Lakes & Prairie and also to support the annual Radiothon to End Child Abuse.

Hubbard Radio Brainerd raised money to support The Lakes Area United Way.
