Augustana opened their tour, in Minneapolis, at the Varsity Theater on Thursday June 4 co-headling with Phantom Planet. Augustana celebrating 20 years of their debut album, "All the Stars and Boulevards" which had the song of the same name as their first single and "Boston" as their second single.

This was an incredible show filled with the entire album as well as other songs from the catalog including, "Hey Now", (clip featured in this video) the opening track to Augustana's second album "Can't Love, Can't Hurt" The audience was given a preview of perhaps a 20 year Anniversary tour in 2028 of that album with a few songs played.

In well over a dozen live Augustana and/or Dan Layus shows, they've all been amazing and a must see while in town or if you need to travel. A few notable upcoming performances and travel opportunities that you won't want to miss are Augustana with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra on June 2 2027 which has tickets on sale on July 21 and an "Augustana's Alaska Adventure" 7 night cruise from Seattle sailing July 30, 2027.

Phantom Planet opened the tour in Minneapolis at the Varsity with Augustana (Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the album "All The Stars and Boulevards") on Thursday June 4th. Both sets were fantastic!

Aside from this tour, Phantom Planet is playing Warped Tour in Long Beach in July and Orlando in November amongst several other dates.

3rd consecutive night of playoff hockey tonight with the Wild taking on Colorado in Game 3 after the Frost split the Home stand with Montreal on Thursday and Friday.

The Lynx open the season tonight sandwiched between two Timberwolves playoff games.

Finally, music across the metro!

Minnesota Frost beat Montreal Victoire, 3-1, in Game 4 to tie the series 2-2 on Friday May 8 after Thursday's game ended with a 2-1 loss when Montreal scored 2 goals seconds apart.

Minnesota trailed 1-0 after the 2nd period but tied it before taking the lead when Sidney Morin scored her 3rd and 4th goal of the playoff series which tied her PWHL career totals.

Kelly Pannek who lead the league in goals and points for the regular season got the third goal for the Frost on an empty net. Maddie Rooney got her first PWHL / pro career point as well on the assist.

Minnesota heads back to Montreal for the final game 5 of this semi-final series on Tuesday.
