Legendary Chicago blues musician Buddy Guy turned 90 this year, and he celebrated the best way he knows how: By taking his Damn Right Blues Band on the road for a multi-city tour. The Buddy Guy 90 Tour stopped at the State Theatre in Minneapolis Thursday, and of course, Buddy Guy delivered the goods, underlining the significance of the title of his 2025 album, “Ain’t Done with the Blues.”

The Union featuring Phil Cook taking people to church on a Saturday morning in Eau Claire! ☕️

On Saturday, July 25, just one day after performing an uplifting set at the Eaux Claires Festival at Carson Park, The Union feat. Phil Cook showed up bright and early at Eaushift Coffee Bar in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to a set of three songs, including "Still Have Joy," above.

When the Eaux Claires Festival returned in the summer of 2026, The Current and Radio Milwaukee teamed up for a live broadcast from SHIFT, and this performance was part of that series of broadcasts.
