When storms hit, the power is out, and information is needed most, local community radio is on the frontlines. Station staff and volunteers air emergency officialsโ updates at all hours of the day or night - responding in real time to evacuations, forest fires, 911 outages, and other crises every year.
โผ๏ธ But recent cuts to federal funding threaten some stations' ability to do this life-saving work.
You can help. Keep community radio on the dial - and help to keep Minnesotans safe. ๐ Give generously at www.ampers.org/fund
