When I think about God's power to redeem, I can't help but think of my own family's story.

My dad was just 8 years old—and his little brother only 5—when their world fell apart. They were orphaned in the most tragic way: my Grandma Joyce, just 29 years old, lost her life in a violent act at the hands of her husband. That same day, he took his own life as well.

It's the kind of story you hear about and think, this will leave behind the worst kind of legacy. Brokenness. Pain. Generational trauma.

But God. 🙌

Through the courageous love of my great-grandparents, Carl and Ida Belle Bennett, who took the boys in as their own, God began to plant seeds of healing in our family. What could have become a generational curse, God was rewriting into a story of redemption.

That story of redemption has only grown stronger with each generation.

Today, our family has had the joy (and the challenge) of serving the orphaned and the vulnerable. God has led us to adopt a son, foster 12 newborns, and walk alongside 19 families in their adoption journey through our nonprofit, A Fearless Life.

And every time I look back, I see how God used the place of deepest pain in our family to write something new. A story marked not by tragedy, but by healing. By purpose. By legacy.

Friend, I don't know what your deepest place of pain is—but I do know this: God can redeem it. What the enemy intends for destruction, God can transform into something that brings Him glory and blesses generations to come.

To the left, a wall. To the right, a steep drop. Ahead, fog hides the path. When life feels uncertain, it’s natural to wonder which way to go. God knows the full journey, but often He only shows one step at a time. You don’t need every answer—just faith for today.

Lord, when I can’t see the way ahead, help me trust You for the next step. I don’t need all the answers—just Your presence to carry me forward.

Because of you, lives are being changed through the hope of Christ! We are in awe of God’s faithfulness and your generosity.

Lord, there are no words that can fully capture the greatness of who You are—no expression sufficient to praise You as You deserve. Our hearts tremble in awe before You, overwhelmed by the weight of Your mercy and the richness of Your favor … so vast, so undeserved, and yet so freely given.

In light of Your abundant provision, instill in us the same generous heart that overflows from You. Grant us wisdom and courage to steward faithfully what You’ve entrusted to us, walking in humility and remembering that it’s all by Your grace alone.

All glory belongs to You, Lord. May our joy and celebration bring You joy. 🙌

In every season, God is faithful. 🌱☀️🍂❄️

Through the growth of spring, the fullness of summer, the changes of autumn, and even the silence of winter—He’s faithful.

When you stumble or succeed, His love never wavers. His presence never fades. 💜

So today—rest instead of crash. Serve instead of strive. Trust that He is with you, always.
