This is a start to a video catalog of the Valued Places documented in the book put out by ASLA-MN in 2001. We understand there are many Valued Places in Minnesota that are not documented in the book, but for this first competition we are encouraging people to explore the original sites and tell us what they mean to you.
**Who is eligible? We encourage individuals, as well as teams to create a vi
deo of a Valued Place. One person on the video team must be a member of ASLA-MN or the Student Chapter, but ultimately the competition is open to any person who would like to document a Valued Place.
**How long can the videos be? The videos can be no longer then two and a half minutes long.
**What formats? The video must be submitted in High/med quality like what you would find on YouTube. The equipment you have, or know how to use is what you should use.

**What is the incentive to doing this? Involvement! Creativity! Experience! This is your chance to document a place that is unique to Minnesota and highly regarded by the Landscape Architecture community (videos make great additions to portfolios, by the way). Videos that are exceptional may be shared with the ASLA-MN and Student membership in the Spring of 2015. Details to follow!
