We are thrilled to announce the 29th - and our 30th Anniversary! - edition of The Fulcrum!
“Weathering” is an anthology on what it means to weather through the watershed moments of life. Our Editor-in-Chief, Taylor , writes, “What, in the slow, patient generosity of living, are we becoming? We are changed by love along fault lines, unstringed faith, grief that redefines the body’s language, and the abrasion of doubt inflicted upon ourselves. There are returns, too, in the collection - to childhood, to fragmented memories, to the versions of ourselves we thought we had outgrown - only to find these nostalgic places changed, or more accurately, that we have transformed outside of them.”
We would like to congratulate the contributors in this year’s publication, whose work time and time again breathes new life into our editorial vision. This is our HIGHEST record of individual submitters (with 51), so thank you to those who trusted us with their work! We’d also like to thank our Graphic Designer ._.ale for extending their unparalleled talent in designing the cover.
