Ellie Jae — the heart and soul of Ark Rescue — needs urgent surgery and ongoing medical care. 💔 She has overcome so much in her little life, and now she needs us more than ever.

Our sweet Ellie Jae—the heartbeat of Ark Rescue—is facing one of her biggest battles yet. Because of her special needs and piggy version of Down syndrome, she scoots to get around, and that causes painful abscesses. Now things have reached the point where she urgently needs surgery and continued medical care.

We cannot do this without you. To cover her surgery and ongoing treatments, we need to raise $2,000 by August 29th.

💔 **Please keep Ellie Jae in your prayers** 💔

Dr. Williams came out today to check on our sweet Ellie Jae. As many of you know, Ellie Jae was born with special needs — a mouth deformity, neurological struggles, and her signature “boot scooting” way of getting around. Through every challenge, she has shown nothing but joy, light, and resilience.

Ellie Jae is not just another animal here. **She is the heart and soul of Ark Rescue. She is the reason we do what we do.** Her spirit embodies our mission — that every life matters, no matter how big, small, young, old, or different.

Today, Dr. Williams discovered that Ellie Jae has developed abscesses with necrotic tissue, and surgery is the only option to save her life. Because of her mouth deformity, anesthesia is very risky — but without surgery, she has no chance. With heavy hearts but unwavering faith, we agreed, because Ellie deserves her chance to keep fighting.

Dr. Williams has secured the very best vet techs and made every possible preparation to keep her safe. We trust her and believe in the strength of our girl. 💙

After surgery, Ellie Jae will need a special house for recovery, strict containment, and ongoing aftercare.

We are asking for two things:
