Meet pexøt! 🫡

Based in Poland, pexøt has been making massive strides in the electronic and wave scene as he continues to push boundaries beyond one genre to fluidly fuse multiple genres. Deep basslines, driving lead synths and enticing atmospheric elements are always prominent in his sound. His latest release “Slide” is a perfect genre-bending example!
We wanted to find out his inspiration behind it and he shared with us,

“My inspiration for “Slide” was to mix wave music with a little bit of dirty old school hip hop and I think it turned out quite well. I like the dark mood of this song and unusual bpm for wave music.”

Kensei’s latest Hardwave release is out now! “Innovators of the Future” inspires us to push all boundaries for a better future. Even in the hardest times, we must continue conquering our fears to succeed. Ae we continue to share these tunes, we appreciate the story, inspiration and motive behind it so let’s dive in!

We wanted to know more about Kensei’s inspiration behind his track:

Kensei states,

“Innovators of the Future marked my initial foray into the hardwave genre, where I was deeply inspired by its dystopian soundscapes. My appreciation for the genre began with my discovery of the artist Heimanu, whose work influenced my journey into this musical style.”

We personally truly enjoy Heimanu’s works so we couldn’t agree more and Kensei definitely captured such powerful energy with this one!

MAYLAY kicks off 2025 with a bang, dropping “DREAMSTATE” on the Wave Stage!
Based in Tampa, she has been on the rise as she dominates every stage performing hype Drum’n’Bass sets and now immerses us into her world.

We wanted to dive a little deeper into her inspirations behind this exuberant track.

It begins with an atmospheric yet gritty introduction to lead into a combination of a catchy lead synth + vocals, slick distorted wobbles and driving percussive elements. As it progresses, we switch into a tasteful Jersey club groove to bounce to truly making this a delightful journey.

She explained, “I wanted to include the word ‘dream’ because that was the vibe I felt from the intro.”

As we approach this new year, we would like to express our love, gratitude and to send all of our blessings for only the best success, happiness, love and warmth your way for 2025. Our most sincere thank you to all the talent involved with the Wave Stage and this year! All the unforgettable moments we have shared are irreplaceable and thank you for your continued support.

We are truly excited to share what we have in store for a new, exciting beginning and to recruit more eclectic music artists we cannot wait to have part of the Wave Stage family. Looking forward to all the new tunes and for all of us to be moved by more incredible music. Music is a gift of life we can never take for granted. The fortifying force and unity of music is what empowers us everyday so let’s continue to create. 🩵

We’ve had such a wild ride this year yet we embrace every high and low tide because it is what determines a gratifying future to love even more. It was such a pleasure to have our Wave Stage family united again this year and what a better way than to support our artists full circle through our record label since our inception in 2020!

As we approach the end of 2024, NGHT VZN continues to rise with captivating beats both on stage and in the studio. We invite you to celebrate the end of 2024 with the utmost calm and solace as we approach our new beginning together! Thank you for all of your continued support!

NGHT VZN - With You is our latest release on the Wave Stage!
We took a dive in to ask NGHT VZN about his vision and inspiration behind this dreamy journey.

“My inspiration behind it was to create something very soft and relaxing after taking on a hectic year. It’s something you can just close your eyes to and have a moment with yourself. The interpretation of the song is left to the listener, but it helps me decompress and take a deep breath. I hope it will do the same for others 💚”
