Poor baby swan was all tangled up in a plastic line yesterday. We thought the universe sent us to Morton Lake yesterday so Alyssa could photograph all of the amazing birds… but it turns out we were supposed to be there for another reason!⠀
⠀
Alyssa noticed a black swan thrashing around very close to the shore. She ran over and noticed that it was caught in a line. We ran to the truck, grabbed a knife and a trusty paint pole and ran back. We used the paint pole to pull the bird closer and then cut the line. ⠀

The bird made a loud noise almost as if you say “thank you!” and continued to pose for Alyssa to get these amazing shots. ⠀

LOOK AT THESE GATOR PHOTOS! 🐊📸

Being and artist, Alyssa is always searching for her next canvas subject to put a flower crown or bow tie on. Yesterday it was a sweet baby six-foot gator at a nearby lake. There is something so special about being so close to such a prehistoric animal, yet seeing such softness in its eyes (but snuggling not approved). I see a painting in the future!

We will be in Lakeland for the next 10 days working on a big mural for Fitness ! Even though it's only about an hour away from home we thought we'd make a little vacation out of it and are soooo glad we did! It feels so good to be back in Penny and have the animals with us for a big job! As I sit here and watch the morning routine of the world that is RV-ers, I want to remind you to go slow and be mindful. Have gratitude for your every breath and every step. To be a part of this universe is truly unimaginable. 🌟🌎

Friday was for the boys! 👨🏼‍✈️👨🏼‍✈️ Yesterday I had the opportunity to help my friend, Captain Ron .hall.39948 move a 40 Caliber from Treasure Island to the Harborage Marina in St. Pete. ⠀
⠀
We transported the boat from the house of the man who literally made the boat, to a slip where the new owners will come and pick up their purchase in a few days. ⠀
⠀
It was an exciting day of drawbridges, sting rays, sunshine and even a sea turtle! 🐢⠀
⠀
Captain Ron has graciously taken the time to teach us how to sail. We have been out on his 40 Caliber, Cielo, many times and he’s helped us not run aground (yet) in our 23 Seaward, Maggie. ⛵️⠀

The universe brings good people in your life. Ron is one of those people for us. ❤️⠀
