The new Florida learner's permit requirements are still in effect:
✅ 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟖 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞? You must complete a 6-hour DETS course (no longer the old 4-hour TLSAE)
✅ 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝: Pass a 50-question exam before applying for your learner's permit
✅ 𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐋𝐒𝐀𝐄 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝐬𝐭? You're still covered - grandfathered in for one year from your completion date!
