My mother and father were monsters. I started therapy after I became a mom because I had no frame of reference how to parent without poison. I thank God every day that my sons are well and happy. It's the greatest gift I could ever dare to wish for. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

As a little girl I didn't ever play house, or with dolls, or dreamed of my wedding day, or becoming a mommy. I'm aware that's peculiar, and the reasons are personal and painful. When my boys were born, the profound power of love overcame me and it was mixed with fear and panic. I had no frame of reference for parenting or being a mother. And then God sent me two sons who taught me what love is. I could have never imagined the heights and the depths love can reach until I met my children. I celebrate THEM on Mother's Day for filling the hole in my heart and giving me so much to be thankful for.. 🙏🏻

After 55 years of asking how to get there, I alone thought to use Google maps and found Sesame Street is in North Port, FL. About $130 to Uber there from St. Pete.
