Sometimes, not all of the plys in the yarn make it into the stitch...sometimes that happens and I don't notice it for a few rows. ☕ 😂
This morning, I 'tink' back, and 'ladder' down for a quick fix, before I finish up the Summer Slip Tee!

As I get closer to finishing this tee, I have to shift around the increasing amount of what I've already made! One of my little hacks is to put portions of my work into drawstring bags that can be clipped to things like stitch holders. Not only does this keep things contained, but it can better distribute weight that might otherwise stretch out live stitches. 🧶 Do any other stitchers do something similar?

This top is just FLYING off the hook! I can't tell if the Catherine Wheel stitch is one of those that just pleases my brain🧶 or if it's the fabulous book I've been reading while I've worked on it☕ 📖 (it's called Butter🧈)

Yesterday I felt the urge to start a new project...so I did! I'd never done a project with a Catherine Wheel stitch, and this top is full of them. It's easy to get into a groove with this one, simply perfect! 🧶 ☕

Starting to add some shaping to this pattern! Making knit and crochet garments is a fascinating process because you're combining most steps of the process of sewing a garment. Pieces are shaped as the fabric is created, seams are minimal (if they exist at all). Human ingenuity has given us an amazing variety in textile and fiber arts!
