You may’ve heard: the global cloud network provider Cloudflare recently experienced a major outage that affected numerous websites and services around the world.
Here’s what we want you to know, and why it’s important for our work together:
What happened:
Cloudflare reported “widespread 500 errors” and its dashboard/API was also impacted.
Several high-profile services (including ChatGPT etc...) saw access issues during the event.
Why this matters to you
If our systems (website, ordering, bookings, customer portal, etc.) rely on cloud infrastructure or services routed through providers like Cloudflare, then events like this could delay access or cause temporary errors.
Knowing that such backbone services can be impacted helps us plan better, so we can respond quickly and minimize disruption.
For you, it means that when you encounter an unexpected “error” or “site offline” message, it’s not always on you sometimes it’s the infrastructure behind the scenes.
What we’re doing
We’re reviewing our dependencies making sure we have fail-safe options or backups to reduce the chance of major disruption.
If you encountered any issues while interacting with us (booking, ordering, sending messages, etc.), please let us know and we’ll prioritize resolution for you.
We’ll keep communicating: when there’s a known downtime or issue, you’ll hear from us early.
Thanks for your understanding and patience we strive to deliver consistently reliable service, and part of that is recognizing how our technology stack can be affected by large-scale incidents.
