We did a traditional Korean dress known as Dol-hanbok (λŒν•œλ³΅) and a traditional Korean one-year-old birthday celebration that is called Doljanchi (λŒμž”μΉ˜).

Doljanchi (λŒμž”μΉ˜) is where your baby is placed in front of an array of symbolic objects and encouraged to grab one. What the baby picks is said to predict their future career or personality traits.

She ended up choosing a sealed syringe to symbolize a bodybuilding future πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

So grateful for such a beautiful life with such a beautiful family and wonderful friends.

2 years ago, I was a severe alcoholic with nothing. . Family had died. Sh*tty relationship. Working at a bar. Living in a trailer with no floors. No career.

I sit here now with so many blessings that I had prayed for years ago. God gave me more than I even knew I needed.

Never knew that being a mother to a beautiful baby girl would be the greatest honor to ever experience in my life. My husband and her are the reason I try to be my best self every single day, even when it’s so hard.

Thank you, God. Thank you for everything.

Lola turns 1 next week. Time flies, but I’m cherishing every second.

It started with my family I lost too soon… but they gave me a daughter and husband who gives me a reason to keep going every single day. I do this for all of them and I’ll continue to show up every day to honor them.
