Alright, let’s go over your results…

We ran some tests on your social presence and there are a few things we need to talk about.

Your Attention levels are low.
Consistency is fluctuating.
Messaging is… a little all over the place.
And your Brand Voice could use some work.

The good news? Your prognosis is good.

The doctors at Truly Social have put together a daily supplement regimen to get things back where they should be.

Take as prescribed. Don’t skip doses.

September is Su***de Prevention Month💜

I’ve lost people I love to su***de and this subject will always be a deeply personal one for me.

I don’t have some perfect message or the right words to make a loss like this easier. I just know that the people we love matter and sometimes a little kindness, a little patience, or simply letting someone know you’re there can mean more than we realize.

I’m sharing this because I hope it reaches someone who needs it, whether you’re struggling yourself, worried about someone you love, or carrying the loss of someone you miss.

Please take care of each other. And please be gentle with yourself, too.💜

If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

🎬 COMING SOON…

They thought they were safe.

Until they came face-to-face with an em dash.
It was everywhere.

In every ChatGPT conversation.
In every caption.
In every “quick rewrite.”
There was no escaping it.

A typo appeared.

Then came the dreading words: “Make it go viral.”

And the nightmare had only just begun…

Inspired by true events.
Dun dun dun… 👻🥁

Creativity has always been a huge part of who I am.

It’s in everything I do. The way I see things, the way I photograph something, the way I put a space together, the way I style an event, create something in Canva, cook a meal, or turn a random idea in my head into something real.
I genuinely love making things.

But I also think creativity is about perspective.
It’s looking at something and thinking, “I wonder what I could do with this?”

It’s finding a different angle, playing with an idea, trying something unexpected, and not being afraid to do things a little differently.

That’s what I love about creative work. There isn’t always one right answer. And honestly, that’s exactly how I want Truly Social to feel.

It’s funny how the things I use every single day are actually pretty simple.

Coffee while I’m thinking through an idea. ☕️
My iPhone for capturing something I probably would’ve stopped to take a picture of anyway. 😂
A tripod for when I decide, “ok, I’m actually going to make this.”
My computer for putting all the pieces together.
And Canva… where approximately 85% of my ideas come to life.
But honestly, it’s not really about the things.
It’s what they let me do.

Create. Experiment. Take an idea that’s been floating around in my head and turn it into something real. Find a different way to say something. Make something look better. Solve a problem. Try something completely new just because I’m curious to see where it goes.

I’ve always been happiest when I’m creating something and I feel pretty lucky that I get to make creativity such a big part of what I do🩷

We’ve all dated someone who made big promises and delivered… absolutely nothing. 😂

So naturally, we decided to make a business strategy out of it.

At Truly Social, we believe your social media should have communication, consistency, creativity, personality, and most importantly, someone who actually cares.

Basically, everything your ex said they were going to bring to the relationship. 😉

Your business deserves better.

And no, we’re not bitter. We’re just observant.💅🏼

I think there’s a weird pressure to make your brand look like it has everything figured out.

The perfect colors. The perfect font. The perfect grid. The perfect little voice.

And yes, those things matter.

But if you’re making every decision based on what looks “right,” you can accidentally end up looking like everyone else.

Give yourself permission to have an opinion. To do something a little unexpected. To choose the thing you actually like instead of the thing you think you’re supposed to like.

Because honestly, a brand with a point of view is a lot more interesting than one that just checks all the boxes.

A little reminder to be careful about who you hand your social media over to. 👀

I’ve had more than a few potential clients tell me they’ve been paying thousands of dollars for social media management for a year or more…

Only for me to look at their account and see very little personality, brand voice, or reason for someone to actually want to follow them.

And honestly? That’s frustrating.

Because I don’t think great social media is about throwing up a few posts every week and calling it a day.

I’m all about the heart behind a brand. The personality. The voice. The little things that make someone stop scrolling and think, “Wait, I like this.”

Your brand should actually feel like YOU.

So before you hire someone to handle your social, look beyond how much they charge or how professional their proposal looks.

Look at their work.
Look at the brands they’ve worked with.
Look at whether their content actually has a personality.

And most importantly, ask yourself:
Would I want to follow this account?

Because your social media shouldn’t just exist.

It should make people stop.
It should make them feel something.
It should make them want to stick around.
That’s the kind of social media I believe in🩷

Anyways… choose your social media person wisely. ☕️🐸

I’ve always felt like the best social media content is the stuff you can’t really plan.

It’s the funny thing that happened that day. The customer story you’ve told a hundred times. The behind-the-scenes moment that didn’t go quite as planned. The little thing you’re weirdly proud of.

I think sometimes we get so focused on making our businesses look polished that we forget to show people what it’s actually like to be there.

And that’s the part I love about social media.

You’re not just showing people what you sell. You’re giving them little reasons to remember you, talk about you, and eventually choose you.

So yes, make it pretty. Have a strategy. Plan your content.

But leave a little room for the stuff that’s just… YOU.

The way you see things is what makes you different.

Funny enough, this photo wasn’t even planned. It was just a random moment that caught my eye.

And maybe that’s why I love it.

A different view. A different angle. A reminder that sometimes the best things happen when we aren’t trying so hard to create them.

Your experiences shape your ideas. The details you notice. The stories you carry. The way you bring things to life.

No one else has your exact perspective, and that’s the part worth sharing.

So don’t be afraid to create from your own lens.
Because the way you see the world is something only you can bring to it.
