Melissa Sharp ~ What a day! After a long run, sweet Larry ❤️ and I headed over to Shoe Sensation St. Robert MO to see some of the smiling faces of the kids from Dixon Elementary that were the recipients of the OneSolePurpose Pulaski County project this year! We did it a little different than we have in the past and the kids love it! Each child was issued a Golden Ticket to be redeemed for the athletic shoe of their choice between December 5-7. That means they each got to pick out their own shoes!!!! 👟👟👟And we loved watching it!! 🧡🧡

Thank you to all our sponsors and all the runners and walkers who participated in the fundraising events put on by the Healthy Futures Pulaski County Coalition to make this happen!!! And of course we can’t thank our volunteers enough! Pulaski County USA, has some amazing residents!!! A special thank you to Alicia Stapleton Timmons and her crew at Shoe Sensation for collecting socks all year so every child also went home with a new pack of socks!!!! 🧦🧦Registration for all our events 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️will open Monday so we can start fundraising for the next school!!!
